Mrs. Imogene Sloan Price, age 74, of Mt. Clare, WV celebrated her 74th birthday on March 30, 2014 by being reunited with her Lord Jesus and her two sons.
Mrs. Price was born on March 30, 1940 in Mabscott, WV a daughter to the late Henry and Myrla Fox Sloan. She was a member of the Clarksburg Church of the Nazarene, loved cooking, gardening, singing, and playing music with the love of her life, her husband of 59 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Carlos Price, whom she married on January 29, 1955; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Jason Lafferty, of Nutter Fort; son, Joshua Price, of Quiet Dell; daughter-in-law, Sharon Price; grandchildren, Emily Fluharty, Hannah Palmer, and Dylan Price; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Bailey, Edna Christina, and Oakey Sloan; several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Robbie and Phillip Price; and 3 siblings.
The family has honored her request and she will be cremated. There will be a private memorial service held for the family.
