Diana Lynn Riddle

Diana Lynn (Goff) Riddle, age 65, of Marshville Community departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her daughters residence surrounded by her three children by her side. She was born in Clarksburg, WV on June 14, 1949, a daughter of the late Hubert Earl Goff and Mary C. (Tharp) Goff.

Diana is survived by a son, Mark A. Riddle & his wife, Jenny L. of Marshville, WV; two daughters, Kathy M. Carpenter & her husband, Danny of Clarksburg, WV and Margaret A. "Margie" DeMoss & her husband, Travis of Bridgeport, WV;; six grandchildren, Joseph L. Riddle, Levi M. Riddle, Ashlynn N. Carpenter, Brayden D. Carpenter, Darrell "Bailey" DeMoss, Mikaela DeMoss; two step grandchildren, Dustin Landis and Tiffany Landis; one great grandson, Bentley Riddle; three step grandchildren, Jersey Burr, Shuakhia Burr and Jade Bowen; two sisters, Anita Bonnett & her husband, Eddie of Shelbyville, KY, and Pam Crouch & her husband, David of Auburn, WV; four brothers, Gene Goff & his wife, Jill of Auburn, WV, Dwight Goff & his wife, April of Elizabeth, WV, Allen Goff & his significate other, Teresa Conley of Sardis, WV and Jeff Goff & his significate other, Sheri Skidmore of Glenville, WV; a special sister-in-law, M. Maxine Riddle, Clarksburg, WV; numerous nieces and nephews.
Diana worked as the Head Cook for the Harrison County Correctional Center and the WV Regional Jail. She was a leader of the 4H Club. Diana enjoyed baking and decorating cakes for weddings, birthdays and special events.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles N. "Chuck" Riddle, who died on October 22, 2011; a brother, Stephen Goff; and a step granddaughter, Heather Landis.

The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home on Rt. 98 Clarksburg/Nutter Fort on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 2:00 - 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Owens and Pastor Dwight Goff, presiding. Interment will follow at Marshville Baptist Church Cemetery at Marshville.
