David Lee Wison

David Lee Wilson, 74, of Clarksburg, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his residence.

He was born December 31, 1941 in Clarksburg; son of the late Mancel and Maycel White Wilson.

David is survived by his loving wife, of 49 years, Elizabeth "Kitty" Grammer Wilson; one son, Paul David and wife Florence "Cookie" Wilson of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Julia Reiter, Rachel Douglas, Nicholas Reiter; five great grandchildren; one brother, Charles H. Wilson. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Paul J. Wilson; one brother, James Robert "Bob" Wilson; one sister, Mary Pauline Wilson Shanks Stiles.

David worked 35 years for Rokisky's Exxon. He was a member of the VFW Men's Auzillary; Local Eagles #2353; proud sponsor of Poineers Handicap Jamboree. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg/Nutter Fort on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 12:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm with Reverend Johnnie Cole officiating. In keeping with David's request, he will be cremated.
