David Wayne "Homer" Moser

Mr. David Wayne "Homer" Moser, age 67, of Spelter, WV passed away unexpectantly on Saturday, August 30, 2014.

Mr. Moser was born on June 12, 1947 in Ohio a son of the late David and Juanita Shingleton. He was a 1966 graduate of Victory High School, owned and operated Moser Dry Wall Company until his retirement where he did many jobs in the surrounding area including the dry wall at Davis Funeral Home, he was an avid Musky Fisherman and loved going to Canada to fish. The family would like to say a very special thank you from his brothers to Daves good friends, Brud Drummond, Mike Rogers and Diana Book. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Goldie Lamp Maize and grandfather Harley Watson. His beloved dog Bing will spend eterenity with him.

He is survived by his children, Traci Moser, Travis Moser, Corey Lake, Britney Atkinson, Sheena Hawkins, and Marisa Parsons; grandchildren, Allison Vandevander, Luke Moser, Kaden Moser, Kierstyn Moser, Karina Atkinson, Logan Parsons, Morgan Hawkins, Landon Hawkins, Isaiah Gabbert, and Bryson Gabbert; brothers, Richard "Dick" Moser, and Randy "Tootie" and wife Penny Shingleton; nephews, Matt Shingelton, Dickie Moser, and Jeremy Moser.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 5:00-7:00pm at Davis Funeral Home on Rt.98 Clarksburg/Nutter Fort.
Following the visitation a Celebration of Life service will be held in the Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Pator Rocky Dodd, presiding.
