Beth Ann Gallo, 66, of Clarksburg, lost her battle with cancer Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab with her family by her side.
She was born February 27, 1950 in Clarksburg; daughter of the late Austin Donal and Lois Gailene Scott Cunningham.
Beth was a 1968 graduate of Washington Irving High School. She worked at several businesses over her lifetime; Parsons Saunders, Union National Bank and Dr. Colombo. She was Methodist by faith.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Samuel H. Gallo, a daughter, Ashley Nicole Gallo; two grandchildren, Olivanna Posey and Elijah Dodd; two brothers-in-law, James Gallo and his wife Nancy, and John Gallo; a sister-in-law Cindy Gallo; a nephew, Sam Gallo; a niece, Veronica Gallo; four great nieces, Caroline, Jenna, Annie and Mia Gallo; and two special friends, Mary Lou Lantz and Arlene Ferrell; a sister Cheryl Donette Cunningham; a brother Michael Cunningham, his wife Debbie; three nephews; Zachary Cunningham and fiancé Ashley Nardei, Jon Cunningham and wife Kristin, David Cunningham and wife Kristi; three nieces, Erin Brown and husband Matt, Megan and Shannon Cunningham; four great nephews, Blake, Noah, Gavin, Dominick Cunningham; five great nieces, Madison, Addison, Emmalyn, Cayton and Braelynn Cunningham.
In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by a grandson, Samuel Posey.
Services for Beth will be private only for immediate family. The family asks for no flowers, but donations to be made to the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation, www.donate.cdlsusa.org, in memory of Samuel Eli Posey.
