Barbara L Leonette

Barbara L. Leonette, age 83 of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1933, in Clarksburg, West Virginia; a daughter of the late Lula Pearl Hannah.

Barbara is survived by a daughter Connie S. Leonette of Cambridge; two cousins, Joan Fletcher of Cuyahoga Falls and Gary (Mary Anne) Nutter of Florida. Barb is preceded in death by: her mother; her husband of 61 years Samuel O. Leonette in 2001 and several cousins.

Mrs. Leonette was a graduate of the former Roosevelt Wilson High School and Clarksburg Business College. Barbara was Catholic by faith. She worked as a teacher in Meadville, PA for over 25 years. Barbara was an active member of the Lioness Club in Cambridge and Meadville, PA for over 27 years. She was a Red Cross Chairman and Volunteer for the Bloodmobile. She also volunteered at the former Appaliation Behavioral Healthcare Center.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4:00-6:00pm; Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10:00am with Father D. Kent Durig presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
