Anna Lee Wagner

Anna Lee Wagner, 89, of Clarksburg, passed away, Monday, October 20, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born April 2, 1925 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Samuel H. McNemar and Maggie Cogar McNemar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Williams J. Wagner in 1977.

Anna is survived by two children; Sharon Louise Swiger of Clarksburg and Gary Allen McNemar, Sr. of Clarksburg; two grandchildren; Gene Arthur Swiger, Jr. and wife Bobbi of Adamston and Gary Allen McNemar, Jr. and wife Carrie of Pablo, CO; eight great grandchildren; Maggie Ann Swiger, Steven Swiger, John A. McNemar, Tausha M. Bennett, Shaun A. McNemar, Brenton Swanson, Brian Swanson and Cory McNemar; five great-great grandchildren; Sean, Samuel, Mackenzie, Faith Ann and Reese; one brother; Warren J. McNemar of Atlanta, GA; one niece; Gloria Thorne and one nephew; Michael Kerns, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven siblings; Glenna Nash, Mildred McClean, Margaret Seal, Marie Brannon, Catherine Blake, Basil McNemar and Rosco James McNemar; one granddaughter; Connie June Swiger and one nephew Michael McClean.

Anna was a CNA, having worked for the State of Maryland at Spring Grove State Hospital for 20 years and Taylor Manor Hospital for 15 years. Her hobbies included shopping.

The family will receive friends at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr./Rt. 98, Clarksburg on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 11:00am-1:00pm, at which time funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home with the Pastor Warren J. McNemar officiating. Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
