Alvina M. Klevins

Alvina M. Klevins, age 103, of 800 Circle Drive, Mount Clare, where she resided for the last 9 years with her daughter Madeline Kittle, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Heartland Nursing Home in Clarksburg.

Mrs. Klevins was born on June 1, 1911 in Hellvitia a daughter to the late Aletha Menear(Thompson). She was a retired self employed housekeeper, Methodist by faith, and loved to clip Sunday paper coupons in her spare time. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by husband, Jack Klevins, daughter, Eileen Shaw, grandsons, Wayne Kittle and David Kittle.

She is survived by her daughter, Madeline Kittle of Mount Clare; granddaughter, Lynne Jansons of CO; great-grandchildren, Lauren Jansons-Treat, of CO and Adam Jansons of OR; niece, Mabel Kovar, of Clarksburg.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 9:00am until 11:00am at which time a funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Rt. 98 in Clarksburg.
The family will then go in a procession to Cassidy Cemetery where Alvina will be laid to rest.
